About Food and its Purpose.

Food is a neccesity in our lives, we eat to live.

But food plays a bigger role in shaping our society, depending on our region and culture. I want to find out the various roles in which food partake in our society, and eventually, using food as my communication medium for design.

What better way to start off by looking at the most primitive form of communication between the people and the divine. Food as an offering and the many rituals they partake in religious ceremonies. Where food is viewed in 3 different aspects:
